Destination Wedding is the best way to go. I had a Destination Wedding in Jamaica. We make 5yrs this July. It took one full year to plan our wedding. I did it myself and it wasn't stressful at all! Best decision ever!

I had a destination wedding 12 years ago now and all the suggestions you made are exactly what I did. No bridesmaids, smaller guest list, dinner to party time frame was short, and hiring a makeup artist and hair stylist. I too drank mimosas and had a chill day. Congrats and many years to you both!

Your Wedding looked lovely Congratulations! I got married in my early 20’s I mostly knew who I was. We grow and develop, likes dislikes etc. But I knew who and what my heart wanted. That was definite. We have been married 23 years this year. I planned our Wedding and we got married in 6 weeks. 3 Bridesmaids one Chief. You don’t stop growing as a person in your 30’s you grow together and change. I would marry him again at the age I did. He’s my soul mate. Cobo may have to be for one of our Anniversary’s.

Congrats to you and Les! I bought my wedding dress from a Breast Cancer fundraiser for $800 and I gave it away to charity after the wedding. It served the purpose and now someone else can benefit! We also have multiple rings for different occasions and my husband wears his rubber ring daily to workout and to work. His dress ring is in my jewelry box. Our wedding was a disaster due to weather so maybe at our 10yr anniversary in 3yrs we can renew our vows...maybe. Our marriage has been amazing so I wish you the same.

Congratulations!!! ABSOLUTELY...Destination weddings are IT!!!! I got married 19 years ago on the island of St. Kitts when destination weddings were just beginning to happen. I would do it again!!! Minimal stress, budget friendly and a breathtaking experience for everyone! My 30 guests wore white and we took a group photo. My mom was my Matron of Honor...NO bridesmaids. People are STILL talking about their experience almost 20 years later!!! There was definitely a VIBE! My prayer was for everyone to be on one accord and that's just what happened. Guests created lasting relationships from our wedding!!! Glory to God!

I love this video! I’ve been married for 32 years and got married at the courthouse without any family or friends. I was 22 when we got married so it can work if you put in the work. I’ve always wanted to celebrate our marriage with a huge party but life always gets in the way. This has me thinking about a vow renewal maybe for our 35th anniversary and in a destination.
