Brilliant. really enjoyed this one. It really shows how flexible and easy it is to just get away for a couple of days.

Great vid we done the same thing last weekend 2 nights away at a local site. It’s like being a million miles from anywhere. So relaxing. Have a great Christmas and new year see you at tf19

Thanks Trevor, yep it's funny how you can go just down the road from home and think you were much further away! Have a great Christmas too! Andy

Great video, we have just bought our first caravan at the end of October and haven’t witnessed anything but winter caravanning yet. Roll on the summer.
@MakeWayWithTheMorleys6 жыл бұрын
Hi Jonathan. Ahhh, well summer won't come fast enough then! That said, we love caravanning this time of year, sites are generally quiet (unless you find a rally like we managed to) and a bit cheaper too. Thanks for watching. Andy

Great video. It’s always interesting to see how caravans work for families. Also extra marks for Pass the Pigs (making bacon!). Look forward to the next instalment.

Thanks very much for watching and getting in touch. Getting away at the weekends is entirely possible with a young family but definitely needs a bit of planning to make it work. We bought pass the pigs on the ferry to France and is a great game which all the kids enjoy! Next instalment will be out early next week. Andy

Great video! What size aqua-roll do you have?
@MakeWayWithTheMorleys6 жыл бұрын
Thanks, we have a 45L. We did pretty well I think to get them both showered on half an Aquaroll! Thanks for watching. Andy
@Daveks36 жыл бұрын
MakeWayWithTheMorleys Thanks! Was just wondering as I’ve not got myself a caravan yet but aqua-rolls come in different sizes so probably just got the a 51L to play it safe lol
@MakeWayWithTheMorleys6 жыл бұрын
Oh so you're thinking of buying a Caravan then? That's great news! When it comes to showering and knowing you've only got a small supply of water, it does make you more economical.. Also, bear in mind that if you're on a fully serviced pitch like we are in Part 2 (out tomorrow), that you don't have a constant supply of hot water. Modern Caravan boilers are good but not that efficient to keep the water running warm :)

MakeWayWithTheMorleys Yeah hopefully a Unicorn Pamplona just trying to scrape together a decent deposit and finance the rest (I’m 22 🙋🏻♂️🙈) yeah I know that they only have a certain capacity. How are you finding the Bailey? Wish they could lend me one to try 😕 might start blogging if I get one for a young persons caravanning adventure for people to follow🤔

Great video as always guys, thank you! We’ve not been able to get away since October half term unfortunately, but hoping to do a few local CLs in the new year weather permitting. We did Brighton CAMC in early December a couple of years ago and it was down to -6°, we loved it! Keep up the great work 😊 Simon
@MakeWayWithTheMorleys6 жыл бұрын
Cheers Simon, much appreciated! I love a CL, we really should do more of them. I think the coldest we've ever had was around -4° over Christmas a couple of years ago. Hoping the get the remainder of the series edited up and live over the next couple of weeks! Thanks for watching, Andy

Not at all, been watching for a good while now and always enjoy your content. We’ve got two older girls (16 & 19) who aren’t so interested in caravanning with us any more, but our 5y/o boy absolutely loves it. Like i commented on your France summary video (I believe), we get as much fun out of caravanning now as we did the all inclusive Spanish/Canarian holidays we used to go on, we just can’t justify the expense of them anymore, especially as the girls and their respective partners would probably be a lot more interested in coming away if we were heading back to Lanzarote 😉😂 Cheers for the reply, Andy. I look forward to following your progress 😊👍🏻 Simon

Thanks for the vid - very inspiring. When you say loaned the van is that borrowing from a friend or renting it? I like the idea of trying before I buy - especially to convince the family LOL. Also other comments mention”CL” what does that mean? Sorry complete novice questions 😀 thanks and I look forward to the other vids.
@MakeWayWithTheMorleys6 жыл бұрын
Hi, no problem at all. When I said loan, I meant that the manufacturer directly had agreed for me to have it for a short while. No dealer was involved in this case. Perhaps you could check out a website called Camplify, its a peer to peer loan scheme by where you can try something out. I've absolutely no experience of using it but it has given me an idea for a video!! Regarding a CL (Certified Location) or CS (Certified Site), these are micro sites that have been endorsed by either the Motorhome and Caravan Club or The Camping and Caravanning Club. Only 5 pitches can be occupied at any one time and are often much cheaper than a commercial site. In Part 4 we show you round a CL, there was only 1 other unit there whilst we were away and it had only the bare bones of facilities, Electric Hook-Up (EHU), Water, Rubbish Bins and Chemical Waste Point. Hope this helps, thanks for watching. Andy
