I know this video has been up for a while but I just found it. I think these paddles are stunning! Tip for the resin bubbles, I think they came from inside the Kumiko pieces as the resin saturated the wood. You might want to consider sealing the interior wood pieces with stabilizing resin before you pour the epoxy to eliminate the bubbles and spray the top with isopropyl alcohol.

Really cool designs! Something to consider if you haven't already is painting on a thin coat of resin around the wood and letting it dry before doing the deep pour. Sealing the wood first can also prevent bubbles! Only issue with the kumiko pattern is being able to scuff the dried resin in the hard to reach parts, but I don't doubt you've already figured out a solution!
