Having a ghost that plays poorly is easily worse. Who would want to be haunted by a ghost with performance anxiety? That means i'd be haunted by it twice. No bueno.

Im with sos, if the ghost or someone on the other room plays badly, thats most likely a random guy , which is MORE dangerous than a virtuoso. A good musician, probably had a decent background, and would have spent way too much time on their instrument to be proficient at attacking you, which contradicts with the analogy for boxing, that person would be built to come at you. Plus, as a music lover, hearing sick piano would intrigue me more than thinking “is that good piano player here to kill me ?”, doesn’t make sense.

I'm with Casey. If a ghost was playig perfectly, it's way more creepy, and a very clever, cerebral force. Whereas if it's just a bunch of random notes, it may not even stay or even be a ghost.
