The way the Russian/Muslim guys were jumping up and down and praising God was the same reaction you see when someone wins the lottery or the jackpot on a slot machine, the way everyone else in the arena reacted was the reaction people have when they realise their wallet was stolen. Three guys just experienced a miracle, the rest of the arena/MMA world were robbed of a well earned victory. Nobody was acting, all this was recorded in real time, the reactions say it all. Dude ur a clown. If you actaully watch the fight with no sound and in slow motion, Islam clearly won at least three of the first four rounds and was winning for most of the fifth round. All of the "Knockdowns" that volk got were just Islam tripping over himself. If you watch in slow motion you will see that none of volks strikes actually hit Islam in either of the "knockdowns" he got in the second and third round. Even the "knockdown" in the fifth round was sketchy because Islam was clearly going for a level change before the strike landed. If you watch the fight with no sound it is is clear that Islam was landing the harder strikes. Volks best strikes before the fith round were a couple of solid leg kicks.

What?? Hahaha This fight showed that UFC fans and UFC'S commentators have no idea how a fight should be scored. By the Scoring Criteria, Islam Makhachev lost that fight. The 4th round should actually have gone to Volk. The Scoring Criteria says that a fight should be judged by Plan A -Effectiveness (Damage) IF that's even then there's Plan B - Aggressiveness if that is also equal, then Plan C- Control. It's not a combination of the three. Islam holding position for 3 minutes without causing Damage (strikes or sub. attempts) is not considered Effective Grappling. Specially while he was taking strikes to the face. But what were we supposed to expect from the same judges of O'Malley vs Petr and Ankalaev vs Jan. This fight was why the referees were told to make sure the fighters were being active during this last card.

Some people just need to take a closer look at the UFC stats. Makhachev won rounds 2 & 4. And round 1 is clearly for Makhachev as well. There's no debate. Even round 3 is kinda close.It could've gone either way. One judge had 4 rounds for Makha. No robbery at all. If that fight was a robbery, then GSP vs Hendricks was a robbery as well. Same as Lawler vs Condit, Jones vs Reyes and Volk vs Holloway 2. Even with a 10-8 round for Volk, it woulda been a draw.

Credit to Volk, but you can't win a fight only by defending takedowns, throwing rabbit puches from your back and getting a knockdown in the last minute. Makhachev clearly won round 1. Everyjudge scored round 2 for him as well. And he caught Volk in a triangle, threatening him with a sub attempt in round 4.
