I know this is an old comment, but for the future mother's. Patanjali Makhanas are good. I didn't find any worms or fungus inside them plus they are in the same market price as local shops.

Hi Nisha :), As this is already roasted, no boiling required :).. You can also cook in a pan.For this, 1) Add powder to water in a pan and mix well.no lumps 2) Now heat the pan on high. Boil for 20 seconds. ( keep stirring ).. turn off the heat and pour to bowl.

You’re welcome, Kalita :) I think it's better to make plain makhana powder ( without ghee ) like in the video as the ghee might make it sticky while grinding. You can add 2-3 drops of ghee to the makhana porridge just before feeding :).. Hope it helps:)
