Not sure if you noticed this, but at about the :58 mark, there's a height adjustment or speed dial on the router which moves as you're making the chamfer....

You're right! I never noticed that. It's the marking ring for the height adjustment. I looked at my router and it appears that the marking ring has come loose from the actual adjustment ring and in the video you can see that the adjustment ring, the grooved part above the part that is spinning, doesn't move. I didn't notice any differences in the finished chamfered edges so it was weird to see that part spin so much in the video. It's not really a big deal but I'll have to see if I can fix it.
