I would highly recommend that you get yourself electric scissors for sure. You'll notice a big difference and it'll save your own wrist from getting carpel tunnel or repetitive strain injuries after years of cutting. And they cut fabric so quickly too. Have fun in Japan. Lee x

I work for Australia Post, and continuous postage increases are going to put so many small businesses out of business! It makes me so mad, and as a counter operator I cop a lot of flack about these increases…as if I’m the one putting the prices up. 😮

In South Africa our post office is totally defunct because of ineptitude and corruption 😞 Small businesses have to use private couriers. Although those domestic prices sounds huge! Maybe our couriers are actually cheaper. Most of us don't even try to ship internationally. It also affects our being able to import. At least you can receive parcels easily from China etc. If I want to order from China there's a good chance the parcel will never arrive at all! But we work with the challenges and adapt!

Hahaha you say you don't need fabric now lol ... buy all those things you use often in bulk over the long haul you will save money in general on top of not having to pay taxes and now you will have storage space with a house and shelving to store everything up off the floor and if the house feels damp a dehumidifier. My mom used Japanese cherry blossom and when I say I am allergic... every morning I was snotting around it was the worst... hope you have already moved into your own place and the allergies have calmed down!!

43:47 hey taylah. If you ever want to skip the glue step for keychains you can do a lil hack I do. If you move, push the teeth up a little they’ll grab the fabric better and you don’t have to mess with smelly glue. I think I mentioned this too in one of my videos if I didn’t explain it well here 😅

I’m still using what I’d call the tube method but my tags look messy. The burrito method takes way too long. Theres no way there could be a ROI at that pace and my Brother is nothing compared to that Juki..it would collapse trying to use that many layers. There has to be a better way.
