Hailing from the bay area myself, I applaud you so much for being in SF AND for interacting with them during the night. Many are psychologically unwell so much so I have been harassed and chased after by so many homeless folks in SF, Oakland, Portland, and Hawaii seriously just waiting at the crosswalk to cross. Major brownie points for what you do!
