the first group seems really interesting, all of them have very high angst potential; kohane feeling empty because she has no self confidence, haruka cracking under the pressure of being a perfect idol and the guilt she feels for mei, minori feeling as if she'll never be enough, no matter how hard she tries, and i don't have to explain mizuki and kanade. they're a group of usually happy and cutesy people, which may seem boring but once you consider what their characters actually are, then it gets intriguing. a bunch of people who don't feel like they're enough.

and as someone else said none of them are used to admitting they arent happy!!! imagine everyone being sad and depressed and losing motivation but none of them tell eachother and + the amount of miscommunication that could possibly happen, especially with mizuki being an outcast, and kanade being isolated from people for so long probably makes her bad at communicating things and trying to comfort people outside of composing or just trying to compliment people to cheer them up!! idk much abt kohane, but she initially seemed to be very shy, and not very confident, minori and haruka both want to be idols, with haruka being a former idol, but maybe due to miscommunication haruka just feels bad about minori and doesn’t want her to overwork herself (like how kanade does!! which can trigger some potential angst between haruka and kanade) while minori is unable to understand why haruka would possibly try to tell her that (maybe haruka started her sentence with “Minori, I think maybe you shouldn’t try so hard” and was abt to continue because she realized she worded that very wrong, then someone cut her off and they never got to continue the convo…)

assuming that each unit's song is what forms from their feelings, here's what i think their themes would be like (based off of the meanings of the songs) 1st group: about the same as nightcord's original story, except for the fact that none of them are used to admitting that they're not happy. as for how they met, i have no idea. the group would probably be mixed, sometimes online, sometimes irl. minori might've inspired them all with her unending motivation, which is why she's the leader. 2nd group: the theme would most likely be about finding your "true" self and letting it out. i think all 5 of them have some sort of issue with being honest with their feelings. i doubt that they would be idols, though. maybe they would meet through some sort of music program? they all have pre-existing connections to music(except rui but he might just be dragged along by nene). 3rd group(my favorite group! i kin all of them): i think the theme here would be finding what you want, and there would be a focus on following your dreams/wants. this fits in well with all of them, who have constantly been denied what they want. mafuyu is mafuyu, emu wants to make everyone smile but her brothers deny her that, toya not wanting to do classical music anymore, honami wanting to say something but being limited by her need to be nice, and ichika not wanting her friend group to break apart but being unable to do anything about it. they would defintely be a group! there is so much potential. emu finally making mafuyu truly smile, honami and ichika finally reuniting, and toya still playing the piano, but he gets to enjoy it this time. honami and mafuyu would understand each other a lot. they would be a very cute friend group too (: 4th group: first of all, that is a lot of people with siblings. holy crap. and all 5 of them fit the song a little too much. the inner turmoil that they're covering up with normality and cheer... all of them fit that description. saki tries her best to cheer despite her missing out on half of her life and the indescribable emptiness, an with her abandonment issues and the inability to focus on herself, tsukasa smiles despite him only adopting that persona to make others smile, shizuku starving herself to be the perfect idol, and ena is ena.. i think they would have the premise of learning to love yourself as you are? i'm not sure. they would definitely meet through each other. sorry for spamming your comments, by the way!! i love your video :)
