Hi .. tQ for your wonderful video - I wished there was internet/KZbin in the mid-80's when I started my architecture degree .. I lost a lot by being weak in drawing perspectives .. now at 60, I still enjoy the wonderful world of perspectives .. tQ again from Malaysia

Very helpful. No other point perspective videos ever explained how to measure depth.

Thank you very much! At school we just learn how to draw with a vanishing pint but not how to make them the correct size (by using a diagonal line) - this is amazing! :D Art teacher could never answer this question and here it is :) I am very thankful!

Thank you. I have a question. I want to draw the front facade of a house whose upper story is set back from face of lower story by 4'. Lower story is 16'H, upper story is 8'H and I am looking at it with vanishing point in center. Would I use this method to get correct scaled relationship of second floor to lower story? Thank you

Do not use a steel ruler or a triangular scale to draw. The steel ruler is for model making and triangular scale for dimensioning. Use a T-square, parallel bar and triangles to draw.
