I love your hobbies, your passion, your creative mind, your honest way of telling us about your struggling and the journey of getting the final solution through several iterations. Absolut fantastic, thanks for sharing, keep on! ❤ (I very much envy your skills using F360, fun to watch, like an art. I used Onshape so far it works for me but yeah, 3D design needs a lot of practice which you seem to have in your vains.)

Here I am watching this thinking I'd find the ultimate solution for water resistant filament in a fishing application. You clearly have more knowledge than me on Fusion 360!!! I'll trade some of my competitive fly fishing secret for Fusion 360 skills...😅 Anyhow, I am actually looking at re-working a reel seat option AND making spare spools for one of my reel. I mostly use cassette reels for still water competition fishing but my river reel is stupid expensive and the spare spool are over 200 each. At this point I am debating prototyping with the 3D printer and once I am ready just getting PCBways to machine the parts...

You didn’t had to go through all of this all you had to do is put a butter knife in the fire wait till it got hot and make a few wide split in the bottom of your basket or used nail by holding the nail in the fire with a plier and make hold at the bottom of the basket and you’re done . Baskets are made of plastic hot knife go through it like butter . You can shape the basket with the hot knife anyway you like .
