This whole mod feels like the endgame of a JRPG -Hero and their gang found their way to the forgotten city after it being the source of all the chaos in the world -find the key, gets transported to another world and finally saw the cause of the world's troubles(Eternis) -Coincidentally finds big gun of destruction -Gets transported INSIDE the eye and needs to find and repair big gun -The parts of big gun are guarded by guardians inside the eye -Beat the guardians and fixed the gun -Shoot the core and it breaks -And finally boom, ambiguous ending, the world is saved but did they live? Did they die? Who knows?

For some people what I'm about to say might sound bad. But $50000 isn't a lot of money for a mod like this. These are the best of the best developers and it took them 2 months to develop. At $10000 per developer so 5000 per month that's actually not that impressive of a paycheck for a designer at this level. Including taxes a normal job pays the same.

thats still 166 bucks per day if they worked every day of those 2 months if they did 5 hours each of those days it works out to be 33 bucks an hour i doubt it took them a combined total of 1,500 hours to make the mod though

I dont think there is enough people talking about how insane this whole project is. Now, because the creator of this video and all the other amazingly skilled people working in this project is so humble, they didnt talk about how hard it is to do a mod like this. They even make it look simple, but there is thousands of hours of knowledge of coding and designing skills behind this project. It is easy to solve a question for a second time, but finding the solution for that said question at first might look impossible. You need to achieve the impossible thousands of times (and fail thousands of times in the process) to finally be a master in that field and bring whatever it is in your mind to reality. I even think that this mod is a great feat in the Minecraft community. I applaud every single person working in this project, hope to see more!

This is freaking awsome! I already loved the deep sea horror dimension mod, but this is even more amazing. It's so high quality and thrilling! It also fits quite well into the whole sculk theme, as if it was always intended to be that way (but way better implemented than anything Mojang could've ever done). Also, to be able to add this to my world for free is crazy. I'll definitely give it a try!

As a developer I totally get mojangs naming convention haha, you would be surprised how difficult it is sometimes to properly give a class, function or variable a defining name. Silly naming just happens now and then. It happens less in my field as a software engineer but I can see it happining much more often in game development

It makes perfect sense. It’s like how the Lego movie sees us as a cosmic horror because we’re so much more complex. Bricks are as essential as atoms and they’re simply just a simpler version of out world. We have squishy flesh that simply does not compute in lego world. Curves not existing is just as essential to Minecraft, so a non pixelated curve would be pretty damn horrifying

Mod idea End update adding new biomes that can be anything as long as it's good, adds a new ore which can be used to upgrade netherite adding magic protection to the armor and for the weapons it allows you to give status effects by using the potions that are in your inventory as fuel that on hit gives the entity that status effect. SN ore is preferably orange.

thinking about the mage fight what if he had 2 barriers one is the wither projectile barrier that is in effect when he isnt using his spear portals during which time he is faster moving and using his melee attacks and aoe the other is an ovular morrowind like barrier that prevents melee attacks that he uses while firing his spears making the battle a ranged one at that time he is also slow moving also to consider: maybe a recharge phase where he loses his barriers and summons an extra wave of his boys then tries to heal a little he will only do this once at half health using a big silly potion after which he drops an objective:survive situation on the player for like 20 seconds at which time he has both barriers, is summoning boys on loop, and spear portals everywhere. important notes: -his spears can hurt his boys and when he does his big smash his boys throw up their own barriers that prevent it hurting them while he does his little wind up for it but if you attack one while this barrier is up that barrier breaks and the boy is hurt by the mage's aoe this will make potions of poison very useful for this fight as they also break the barrier -he summons boys then when he loses all of his boys he summons more, he is vulnerable while summoning

I think it would have been cool if after the black hole shattered, it slowely started releasing more cracks, the speed of the cracks increasing with each one, before imploding and launching everyone insanely far away, for them to land in the credits dimension. I know this would have been a nightmare to code, but it would be awesome! Nevertheless, this was a wild mod! But, surely, THIS is the farthest Rat will ever get to an eldritch god. Because it is an eldritch god. It would be a bit difficult to get closer to being an eldritch god than an eldritch god. Great video!
