Make a aircraft style brake bleeder from local acquired stuff for about $20 -1 garden sprayer (.5 gallon) -2 3/16" barbed nipples with 1/8 NPT -1 1/8" NPT coupler -18" of 3/16" ID clear vinyl tubing

Did you think about using just a barbed hose adapter fitting, male on both ends? Lose the female coupler, and both male pipe ends. Just a barbed 1/4, 5/16 whatever on one end, the other 3/8 . Simpler, just a thought, the brass guys, Eaton and so fourth, make any kind freaky adapters.

I liked the idea of this and saw the expensive versions for sale, so built my own. Unfortunately, it worked terribly. Whether trying high pressure or low pressure, it blew a bunch of air bubbles into the line which just required re-bleeding the old fashioned way.

Hey Russell! Yeah when you first run fluid through it you have to "bleed" the bleeder. I just run it back into a container while I repeatedly pull the trigger until all the bubbles go away. Sometimes it takes a little bit to do but you'll eventually get them out. This is all I use at the shop. Works great!

Just go buy the right one. by the time you buy the sprayer and add your time, you will probably have 200 bucks in it. Another video of a guy tripping over dollars to pick up pennies

@JS not really, I iiteral have less than a 1/2 hr in it all and MAYBE $25...I've used mine for 13 years (at least once a week) with no issues and the only thing I have to replace once-in-awhile is the vinyl tubing. I personally don't bend over to pick up pennies anymore since they are made of zinc and are worthless.
