Thank you so much for your tutorials! I love them. You inspire me so much, that I actually decided to try and make my own art doll. I have wanted to for so long, but was afraid to try. But your encouragement to just “Do the thing” really helped. So I did the thing and sculpted a bitty bat head, and I love how it came out so much that I’m going to make a mold of it so I can reproduce it. I will say, I used to leave my pins in too and it was fine for years--until the sewing machine needle hit one *just right* and bent in a way that required a very expensive repair job (the needle broke, which I could replace, but something inside the machine broke so no matter what needle I put in it would always hit the sewing plate thing and break). I also highly recommend the fabric clips instead of pins, especially depending on what fabric you're using (some fabric is super fragile and obvs you want to avoid putting holes in it whenever possible)
