Hi Daisynics - LOVE project like this. The only thing I do differently is the sewing it altogether. I put the outside back rightsides together with the pocket and sew completely along the bottom. I then take the material out of my machine, turn over so you can see the back material now facing you and then place my lining. I sew the bottom again only this time leaving a gap for turning. You can then hand sew the opening that is at the bottom of the pocket, pull the work through the right way through the pocket and you see no seam at all. it's MAGIC. LOL.
