If you are going to go to the expense of purchasing land, then why not build a small home on that land? Why build a tiny home that will get too small eventually. I am 72 and live in an 800 sq. foot home with my corgi. It's the perfect size for retirement. I'm like you when I travel in my SUV. I get up early in the mornig and move on to the next place. I don't want to have to pack up a tent. Or clean off a muddy, spider infested tarp. Go girl.

I absolutely love Tinyhomes. I currently bought and live in my TH (398 sq ft). It's actually a little too big and after 2 yrs am ready to go smaller. I want to be able to tow it if needed. Buying your own land is the perfect set up to have. I wish I had done that originally. But hopefully this next year will be ready and atop renting a space. Love your TH your staying in. That is a very cool tiny home , me and my best friend used to rent little cottages to go fishing. They were small, but well maintained , they had water and heat and a small bathroom. Sadly it's long gone now , the older couple who oned them , got to be too much work and their kids didn't want to do anything to maintain them , besides raising their prices.

I love tiny homes too. I am 57 and also travel with a little camper but soon just my pilot and live in the PNW. I’m searching for the perfect tiny home for retirement and plan to sell my big house at retirement time. I like the layout your in now. I’m not so keen on the lofts as we get older and I certainly am up a lot at night for the bathroom so a bedroom below is my favorite. Would love to camp with you sometime! Great content! I really should give up nursing to do a KZbin career. 😊

I gotta believe hard panels would be easier to handle, or two-200 watt panels, used with a splitter. Most panels seem to come with an assortment of adapters. Too bad this one didn't, especially when you struggled so hard to erect it! I'm getting 15-28 watts out of my 100 watt panel in full sun now. These flexible panels lose efficiency over a fairly short period of time, in my experience. Initially I was getting 100-103 watts last Summer (2022), but this Summer I could barely scratch 50 watts. That's a 50% loss in a year. We do struggle for much coveted subshine here in the PNW! Have you any idea of the tiny home size you're looking at? Incredible Tiny Homes in TN might give you some ideas. Just saw two tiny homes on a property in the Seattle area joined by a sunroom and a sun porch. Seattle Tiny Homes was the builder, I believe. I'll see if I can find/send the video link.
