This tutorial is very comprehensive. You make bow-making look simple and easy to accomplish. I learned that Kay has a ribbon addiction. I’m hooked on scissors. Your husband may want to consider ribbon addiction as mild. I have scissors all over my house. I hate when I need it cut something and a seek and destroy mission ensues.

Can you use this with 1 inch satin floral ribbon? Not slippery satin fabric, but the kind of ribbon that is used with flower arranging? I need to make lots of those at work and my arthritis in my thumbs doesn’t allow me to hold the ribbon in place.
@CraftingCousins Жыл бұрын
I have used all types of ribbon. Sometimes they will slide around, but I just force them to my will. And you can always beat your pegs down again to get them closer to each other. It has been worth every dime I spent on it. Thanks so much for stopping by and watching 💕

Thank you! My arthritis makes it so I need another hand! Do you ever put a ribbon around the middle of the bow? Do you think it would be easy to make one of those bowmakers out of some scrap wood and dowels?
@CraftingCousins3 жыл бұрын

I got one pegs won’t fit the wholes why
@CraftingCousins3 ай бұрын
Did you buy it new or used? The reason I ask is because I got one used and I think someone had replaced the dowel pegs and they were just slightly larger. I took a piece of sand paper and lightly sanded around it until it fit in. They are supposed to be really snug though so you don't want to do it too much.
