It really is so rewarding to grow cacti from seed, many cacti can be very slow growing from seed and can be a bit challenging but once you get the seedlings past the first year and a half they take on a bit of a growth spurt, thanks so much Katherine for your wonderful comment and support and for watching, sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a fantastic Friday XXXXX

I do a similar thing at my home: When bringing in my cacti for the winter, I have a heavy rotation as to which ones will be displayed at my east-facing kitchen windows as well as my west-facing front window in my living room. The rest go in my basement under lights. You have a massive collection, gal. Still admiring you and Hans from the Bronx. Peace.

Love the window display!!! I know that Astrophytum asterias has the same tolerance as lophophora. As they both occur in the big bend region of Texas / Mexico. My lophos and my asterias from Daz and Edith stayed out in the greenhouse until it went below zero outside & low 40s inside . Then I took them Inside the house as well as Euphorbias. But of course, my greenhouse is much lower humidity (40%) during the winter. It will be nice being able to look at these beauties sitting in the house!! Love your plants stand / corner. Catching up on a month's worth of video's and shoutout to the Phosporea seedlings woohoo : ) My large Phospohorea plant pops its seeds regularly, and I discover them sprouting in my other succulent pots up to 3 meters further, honestly! Also love the Platyclada, one of my faves! I started from a very humble cutting that has now become a longer cutting in a pot among mixed small Euphorbia's. I hope it grows into a large and bushier plant someday, I don't want to take cuttings off the cutting. Your mature Obesa's are priceless! They are amazingly beautiful. Good luck vibes for the cold season to Belfast! As always, my Adeniums near a condensed window will be the precious ones that I'm crossing my fingers for until next Spring. I'll be taking your tips about ventilation Lyn (in your Winter prep video), and put my fan on them for half an hour daily this Season. A hug to you both, Nathalie from Dublin

Hi Eric :-D I will still be very lightly watering the young seedlings that I have got indoors in this kitchen window, but all the others in this window I will not be watering now until the Spring, my kitchen window and kitchen is kept quite cool as I turn the heater off in there for winter as I keep a lot of plants in there, I keep all the cacti in the polytunnel totally dry with no watering until the spring except for some of the winter growers like the aloes and some of the Epiphytic cacti, thanks so much for your wonderful comment and support and for watching, sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a super Saturday XXXX
