Sorry, got caught up in other things, I'm hoping to get it done this month. These things always take longer than you originally anticipated.

when is part two coming?

Sorry about this, been really busy with work and haven't gotten around to it. The other tutorials I've done in the meantime have been quicker to produce, which is why they happened before this one. I hope to get to it soon (next couple of months maybe?), but unfortunately can't give a specific time frame other than that. Sorry!

I'm starting to like modelling aspect of zbrush more and more, it's not harder than traditional modelling softwares but its definitely quirkier (which can be positive if u get good hang of it.) btw what are your thoughts on maxon buying zbrush? as a beginner I'm bit uncertain if I should keep investing time and money in zbrush as it may be a dying software, even if it currently has no potent competitors (I know I'm being too pessimistic but still)

Well, initially after the sale I was angry too, as I thought this was the end. I'd happily pay Pixologic more for the software, but not Maxon. I even thought I'd stop doing tutorials, but after thinking about it for a bit, I've come to the following conclusion: ZBrush isn't going away in the next few years. It's far too established as an industry standard tool, and right now, despite the rise of Blender, nothing comes close to the sculpting experience in ZBrush. If Maxon add new features such as PBR rendering, decent unwrapping, etc, I can decide then if I want to pay a subscription, but the version I have does pretty much everything I need it to when it comes to pure sculpting. ZBrush was so poor at rendering and unwrapping I always used other software for that anyway, so nothing changes. So basically I won't be paying for an upgrade unless it's spectacular, I'll just stick to the version I have. I can make anything I want with this version right now, it's a perpetual license, and that's an amazing thing to have. Why throw it away and start all over gain somewhere else? The first update from Maxon will prove very interesting. I'd say stick with it until you see that first release and you'll have a much better idea of where they're going with it.
