He has his own school. While he himself dint go to film schoola and not attended any film clases. This is why he is genius he learn film making from his daily life. Result is genius and masterpiece movies. In short he dint allowed schooling to interfere in his education.

Not, "is the lenses, etc." but "are the lenses, etc." Why are people scared to use "are" all of a sudden?

Hard to picture Nolan making a film digitally, mentioning 2 corporate sponsors, or spending more of the video talking about the gear he's using than the story he's telling. Nor can I picture him using the word "Content" (in a form other than the contextual phrase of: "form & content") or using social media or KZbin at all. Forest for the trees.

Promoting your film school, yet...your talking headshot scenes are WAAAY offset vertically. So much so, it's to the point that it's very distracting.

Lens it is only 10% or even less of the success. I have a Blazar Remus 65 and using them with the RED Raptor in the daylight at home you will not get a Hollywood movie automatically out of the box. Here is a huge work: light, sound design, editing, camera movements, talents, and lenses are just a small part of the feeling.

The Big Crunch theory that predicts how the universe will end is yet another scientific thing the Quran details. The idea based on Einstein's general relativity theory talks about how the universe that began with the big bang will be eventually destroyed as its consequence.

Great short. I've noticed with all your films, you have great little locations. I know you use a lot of what you have access to (like basements and garages with texture) but for when you need a more specific location, how do you go about finding it and shooting there? Do you do the whole permit process (which I doubt unless it's for a bigger commercial project), do you go guerilla style with a skeleton crew, rent locations and deal with all the insurance hassle...etc? Locations add so much production value, even more than cameras and lenses and such and you do a great job with locations every time.
@ZachRamelan5 ай бұрын
GREAT question dude. For big locations where we're filming something quick, it's a skeleton crew and guerilla-style, and then for a space, we're filming in for over 4 hours, I'll either pay for it or get a friend to help out.

No offense to Zach, but the term 'secret sauce' is quickly becoming over used on youtube latley. These lenses look amazing...hopefully they are affordable. I have some DZO primes and they are solid. One thing I do see as a drop off is the bars. Watching this on my TV half of the screen is black bars. On a phone you'd have a sliver of an image on your screen. Also the squeeze factor doesn't seem to be uniform, what causes that? Some shot the black bars are closer to the edge and others they are closer to the middle. Edit: the collection of lenses is $30K!

Respectfully, I agree with your video & stuff about making stuff cinematic, but then again, you forgot one major thing, Nolan uses scope when it's necessary, he no longer filming his films in the anamorphic format, only on large format 65mm films, filming with spherical lens & with a 1.43:1/1.90:1 & 2.20:1, full screen gives more Christopher Nolan deja vu euphoria with the right idea & execution of his music, 10/10 master recipe

Generative fill on your talking head fooled me. I find that feathering the layer on top of the video yields a better stitch between the original footage and the generated background. Cheers bud. This video is gold dust.
