I made one of those book nooks about a month ago and they are HARD but so rewarding! Yours turned out great!

It looks so magical, especially with the lights!! Inspired by Rachel Maksys video, I made a magical forrest shelf insert/ book nook a few years ago which started me on a journey of creating lots of miniatures. I’m most proud of my 5 tiny bookshelves that I hand-crafted. They hold 118 miniature books with actual pages that have the covers of all of the ebooks and audiobooks I‘ve ever read. I love doing tedious and fiddly tasks, I had the time of my life with that project.

This looks sooo good, but I am very grateful right now, that the one I have (the Magic Pharmacist one ) only had like 40 books and the covers were all stickers, you are a hero for doing them all

My mom got me a kit like this but sadly it wasn’t a book nook BUT it’s still really cute. Even as a huge craft person who is pretty creative though it’s a bit tricky, but I’m hoping to try one of these someday so I can out it on my bookshelf. They’re SOO CUTE!

This was so fun to watch you navigate, and good on you for powering through! And no, you can NEVER have too many books!!! You did this in a really great timeframe! I make miniature kits and have accumulated many tools and adhesives. I did a ton of research and joined some FB groups before I even started doing them bc I’m a nerd. 🤓 If anyone reading wants some basic tips: Use an exacto knife to help remove the pieces from the laser cut boards to help keep from breaking them. I use and like 3-in-1 glue for most things and it dries fast. Still a little messy, but most adhesives are bc the things are so tiny! For books and paper I just use a glue stick and it works beautifully. I also have longer fine point tweezers to help with some placement in areas my hands are too big to fit into. Don’t be afraid to try one and know you can skip and change ANYTHING you want! Make it fun and make it yours!

That is so cute! You’re motivating me to work on mine. I’ve been a little intimated and it’s sitting in my closet.

Not me thinking it would be like 50 books to glue 😮. Book nooks are so beautiful, and I hope I will have one❤ It was so enjoyable to watch you struggle with it, and I think you did amazing😂

I'm making one from scratch, largely out of oven dry clay, wood, and bits and bobs that i have laying around. I've always been creative, but have to admit that I dont love the super tiny scale on booknooks. it's too fiddly! Cant wait to finish it though.

See I’m a end result person not a enjoy the process person - so I’d love one of these but the biggest gift would be for some else to make one for me 😅

I’ve also been getting adds on socials for these and have been sooo tempted! I think I’d get frustrated and leave it half finished . 😅 But my bf is into small fiddly things (ie building models for war gaming) so maybe I’ll make him build me one 😂
