Making a craps table part 1

Finally ready to start my table build. I ordered as much as I could from casino 4 you yesterday and already started to get delivery of some of it. I have a good friend that is a woodworker so I’m going all in for making it as close to the real deal if not prettier 😎. The price of materials has gon up a bit since you built yours but like you preach “If you practice you will pay for your Patreon subscription!” And my table I hope? My wife suggested a big tv above the table to watch your videos while practicing. I said “sure honey, whatever you want😉. Would be great if I could show you the table when it’s done. You’re my inspiration BT! I just like to play but it can’t hurt to practice more.

Is there a standard height to the casino table. You mentioned table leg height is 28 inches. Adding plywood felt etc... mkes total height about 29 inches. Does it matter?

I think the average is 28 to 30 to playing surface.

Hey BT, What are the lengths of your center support beams? I'm assuming they are 44" long since your ends are 48" long. Would you mind confirming that for me as I'm planning to buy my lumber and have the store cut the pieces for me.

You're too end pieces are 48 in. Long. When you screw your long 14 ft rails the side rails they go on the inside of those end. pieces. That makes the whole frame 48 in wide. Inside the frame would be 45 in wide. So that's your width for your inside rails. 45in. Good luck.

Thanks for the inspiring videos you are one of a kind. I’m at Home Depot now , can I use 1/2 inch plywood it’s too heavy to bring it upstairs in my loft if I use 3/4 would it make a big or small difference on the bounce or landing ? Or too small for the screws ? Thks BT enjoyed all of ur videos.

Are the legs 28in from the top where it meets the other peice of wood?? I cut the 28in legs and they look short compared to the video..

Yeah I put my two ends, on the outside of the rails. But when I put on my back rails. I line them up with my plywood top. So the table playing surface is 14 ft.

Bones top of table to the floor measures 700mm, it will match most casino 's!

Mahalo for the great videos and info. I was one of those players jus giving the casino my money thinking Im gonna throw forever. Ever since I found your videos I’m on a mission to get all my money back and then some. My garage aint that big. You think I can get good work out of a 10’ or 12’ table?

Yeah , that would to good. You can still practice your SL1 and 2 Positions. It's just throwing from the back. Wouldn't be Wright. SL1 is 9 to 9 1/2 ft to the wall on a 14ft table. You would have Plenty of room. Good luck
