How much does the basic materials cost for a single reborn, start to finish. Ive always loved the idea of a reborn

You can get a basic starter kit with everything you need for around £150. Obviously buying in bulk reduces these costs per doll, although the sculpt has an influence on the price (cheapest are around £50, up to around £120).

Peacock fibres for the weighting, but you can get smaller quantities on eBay. The cuddle body is from Etsy :)

Can I ask, what are steel beads, and where do you get them?

I use recycled steel discs from Peacock Fibres. They're heavier than using glass and I prefer them for the body and head weighting as they don't get through the tights.
