Making a Curved Osage Woodland Mage Wand

Back in the workshop with this curved piece of Osage Orange aka Hedge. No lathe this time the entire wand is made on a drill press with a sanding drum. I really love Osage, its very robust and takes a polish really well. It's got a striking color and is very unique. The video is entirely shot on IPhone with ambient audio sped up 6x and edited in IMovie.

I enjoy your videos. I am also a wand maker. Your technique is vastly different than mine. I use just a knife to carve my wands so no two are ever the same. Your lathe skills are very good and your wands are well done.
