Making a Custom Cyberpunk "Respirator"

* THIS "RESPIRATOR" WILL NOT ACTUALLY PROTECT YOU FROM CONTAMINANTS, IT IS JUST A COOL-LOOKING PROP *
Let's go for the trifecta and mod this template one more time. In this version, I am ramping up the additions of pieces and making what I feel would easily fit into a cyberpunk genre of builds. See how I turn EVA foam, and a few other things into what I am calling a custom Cyberpunk Respirator. I made mine with 6 mm and 4 mm EVA, 4 mm What the Foam, vinyl tubing, EL wire with battery pack, EVA chainmail, 1-inch elastic banding, contact cement, super glue, Plasti Dip, and some Plaid FX acrylic paints. You may also need the following tools: a heat gun, a Dremel with various bits, a wood burner, and a Xacto knife or box cutter. I made it !!!!some different features but I did it I went to Michaels and found the correct foam fix paints EL wire and foam cylinders. Now there’s a competition in my city winner will get mask replicated for all Brownsville here in Texas. I’ll make sure to give credit where credit is due lol. Thanks and keep up the great work

Agreed. While none of my builds would protect against pathogens, they do fit over the top of a protective layer like a N95 or clothe mask.

I got it for my Cyborg Plague Doctor cosplay. While I am an athletic ware type of guy on a regular day to day. There is just something about that hoodie that does if for me. My younger brother and his wife are a bit more into the gothic style and he is jealous of that hoodie.

Glad you like them! Thanks for watching. I got my start making props out of cardboard and trash. Some you should definitely watch if you haven't is Gustav Ljungdahl. He's not a very big channel, don't know why, but he make amazing stuff using mostly recycled junk.

I've been thinking about the Gladiator helmet for a while. I used to have a replica of the sword he has in the movie. Was a bit of a sword collector right out of high school, but lost most in hurricane Katrina.

Most foam comes in rolls, depending on where and what kind you buy. A roll of foam could make between 6 - 13 half masks, depending on the amount of details. So it wouldn't take much

it has a clip on the batter pack, so technically you could put it wherever. I put it under my shirt so it wasn't visible
