7:31 If I were to take a guess I would say that the reason it was too soft was because the arms of the sway bar were too long which of course allows much more torque to be applied to the bar. I bet if they were shortened it would feel a lot stiffer.

Piano wire isn’t meant to be spring steel, so using it as a torsion bar isn’t ideal, but I truly love that you experiment with this kind of stuff. Cutting down the yeti sway bar was definitely the ticket. Great video erika

Thank you! Yeah I figured I might as well try it since it is harder than mild steel. Never know 'til you try!

hey cool idea! sway bars traditionally run the width of the vehicle from each side. I'd try that

Thank you! You are correct but I don't have the space for it unfortunately

I couldn't see the chassis bottom but I'd consider running it somewhere from the bottom of each shock tower around the control arms WITHOUT any moving parts. a bar straight across with a bend on each side, maybe 10° - 30° bend, around there

Sway bars are nice, in fact, my Enduro Ecto has one, & sure helps me, in making lines out at Knight's Ferry, without it, my rig is pretty useless...🤦🏼♂️ Great setup too.
