I want to start getting into production but now sure what to go with. Would having a DAW like Ableton give me more options, or is this thing just as good? Cuz all my Dj gear is from NI, so I’m thinking if I should get a maschine or another midi and ableton

Ableton has way more options and control. For full scale production, it's a lot more versatile. I also use it a lot. What I like about the Maschine is the hands-on element, the big pads, and I like the workflow better than the Push. So for tactile part I think the Maschine is better, but Ableton is definitely way ahead in terms of production capability.

Awesome videos, and the music is great and really pro sounding! Would be super cool if you could give some more insights in the patches/instruments/racks you're using, maybe a zoomed in view of each instrument chain?

Thanks for the feedback! I was actually thinking about including screenshots of the instruments / effects chains in this one. I'll definitely have to keep that in mind for the next videos.

Thanks! Before I write the song, not really. But I do spend a couple days sketching out these songs before I make the walkthrough videos.

Also, do you sample the synth chords yourself, or are these from samplepacks?

In this case these chord stabs are all from sample packs, besides the chords I record in at @3:00. I usually just look up chord stabs on Splice and download a bunch.

I’m trying to make more live songs / sets / with on the fly stuff. For me it takes a lot of time to get to that level. If you or anyone have any advice, extra vids or anything, please share!!

Sure, one good resource I've used a lot: adsrsounds.org has a good complete guide to the MK3, and a bunch of good tutorials on production in most any area you can think of
