You can actually play it acoustically. Not too loud but you can!

beautiful tin can build, looks and sounds amazing, I build tin can guitars as well, wish I could lay frets as well as you do though, I got to try an olive can sometime. If I may ask, what did you do to clean out the can, olive oil is hard to get out, at least in my experience it is

To be honest I just added water and soap I shaked and removed the water. Repeated a few times and that was it. If you want a better job you can use the hole like the one I opened and clean by hand.
