I’ve been recording, mixing and mastering on my iPad for a while now but haven’t really taken production seriously. It was good to see a UK producer using Beatmaker 3 at this level. Thank you 👊🏾

Hi...New sub. I love the vibes of your channel from instant click and subbing. I recently purchase a used 2018 iPad Pro 1TB and made the decision to go mobile from my 2013 MPB. Working in the iOS platform is definitely new to me from my OS set-up. Once I figure my workflow and the whole iOS slight learning curve, I'll be good to go. I'm a inspirational creator and the love of music is in my DNA. I'm open to learning from anyone here on the YT that is going the mobile route and your channel was a good stumble upon you search. I wish you all the best for the New Year and hope you rock out the contents. I follow *HennyTha Bizness and BoloDaProducer* who avid users of iPad beat producing and they are amazing. So, ENI looking forward to your growth.

🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 Really appreciate you taking the time to write this. Yeah I've been watching Henny and Bolo over the years too getting inspiration from their content when I didn't have a working PC and all i had was my 2018 iPad. iOS for music production is a very underrated untapped platform, hardly anyone is aware of its capabilities. With drill being an increasingly popular genre I'm hoping this channel will serve as a vessel to raise more awareness about ios beatmaking amongst the younger generations of producers. Looking forward to hearing the results of your inspirations :). DM me if you need any advice on apps n stuff.

Do it. You got a stand-alone piece of hardware and trust me- it’s wild how versatile it is. And I still got the 10th gen iPad. I dunno I come from the mpc floppy disc era- like fabfilter and izotope cost literally nothing compared to a desktop cuz their just figuring it out. Anyway- I say go for it 100% best thing I’ve done when it comes to making beats.

Should I buy bm3? Some people say that it crashes everytime
@mediabym4 жыл бұрын
I had some crashes on my earlier ipad ios 13, but since working on the pro (and probably more to do with ios) I've had minimal crashes. All depends on what you're using it for though. I use predominantly wav files for my work so not a lot of cpu drain. Short answer: Yes buy it!

Quick question: where do you get your loop kits from?
@e.n.i.onthetrack5933 жыл бұрын
There are plenty of producers/sample makers who promote their packs YT with download links. Check out Hxve for example - he drops dope loop packs frequently. Alternatively just do a search on YT for loop packs you’ll find loads. Be sure to read their terms though, whilst almost all will want splits when there’s a placement/major deal, there are a few who don’t demand it for online sales/beat leases. Hope this helps

Whats it like for remixing existing tracks with vocals?
@e.n.i.onthetrack5934 жыл бұрын
Like with any DAW it comes with its learning curve. I've only mixed one song on it so far and whilst it's not the most straightforward it is possible! As for effects plugins there are plenty of those on the ios platform. Ik multimedia just released their version of a waves effects bundle, with over 70 rack-style FX, currently at £38.99.

These new producers are so non original I always thought music was about being creative didn’t create his own melody and made the typical drum pattern for a drill beat 2 dumbs down
@tanysozi4 жыл бұрын
But I will subscribe because I can tell u knowledgeable 💪🏾
@e.n.i.onthetrack5934 жыл бұрын
Appreciate the sub man but I'm confused by your first comment. Yeah, the drill cadence is not as flexible as other genres hence the 'typical' drum patterns you'll hear across most drill songs. As for creativity, look I'm trying to make the content as palatable and digestible for people new to drill and new to iOS beatmaking. I could pour all my creativity into a beat but that means I'm potentially filming for hours. I use loops because it quickens my workflow, plus some of them are pure fire 🔥 - why pass on them? Stick around, we're just getting started. Let me know what you'd like to see too, I'm open to ideas

@@e.n.i.onthetrack593 naw I get what u doing but I also recognize u know how to produce that’s why I subscribed I do know talent tho and I really don’t consider that drill music it’s really grimm music that’s that London shit always thought it was dope way back then but the us is ruining it 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️

been doing beats since the 80s nothing is original every one steals or stole from someone. you think basslines are original its only so many notes. it's about creating not taking forever to make a beat. but hey do the way you like best. be blessed
