I just love how you always allow your cats to be curious. I've started showing my own cats more things like new smells or new places because I was inspired by you. Gives them all the stimuli and I'm sure a happier life. :)

Same! I let my cats sniff ingredients as I’m cooking and they love hanging out in the kitchen to watch me cook as a result.

I also let them sniff the things that they won't eat (not bread because my cats are bread monsters). I also give them home raised insects as treats, it's very stimulating for them to play with something that moves before eating it

I own a 50 gallon tank. A lot of fish need a lot of extra room, so it’s good that people really think into it and buy a proper tank with proper equipment. ❤️

Very nice cabinet build 👍 just so you know, the product you used to make the wood darker, in English it is called stain not paint. The difference is that paint is opaque and would hide the wood grain whereas stain just darkens the wood while keeping the grain visible

as a fellow cat dad, i can totally relate to my cat getting as much in the way of me doing stuff as he possibly can. One time when i changed the bedsheets, he was absolutly hellbent of laying in the plastic tub i used to collect laundry, so i just piled the laundry on top of him and took him downstairs with me

Really cool that you give your cats ingredients to sniff, have them around when cooking or building and let them explore i am sure it contributes to the happy life they have now. I know tropical fish don't like to be moved, so you have to be careful. It stresses them. Plus I know that tropical fish have had heart attacks from just tapping on the glass. Jun, I would like to give you a tip for the screws. When you make a hole and you use a drill bit, for example number 5, then you take another number 8 and make a hole right on top. In this way, when inserting the screw, its head will be hidden inside the hole.

On the fish stand below the fish tank you should put some of the bamboo paper you used for that other project. You could also put a shelf down there to hold your fish supplys. Just some ideas. Looks good!

I like that upstairs loft area, will be cozy in winter...have seen people build fish tunnels so they can swim between rooms...maybe set up a tablet to let the beta fish look at different 8 hour videos, kelp forest etc. Watching Netflix My Octopus Teacher, a diver shows ...how artistic mimics ... they can be, aware of surroundings, even able to express excitement when a beautiful visiting shoal of fish appeared on its reef in South Africa.

this is going to look so beautiful once it's done! Don't forget the cushion layer between the bottom of the tank and the stand. It will help distribute any unevenness and keep the stress on the tank minimal. I would also have a sturdy lid to keep the curious kitties out.
