Making a floating over the page pocket with file card and paper sack for vintage school journal

This project is inspired by the wonderful Laurette "Vintage Paper Girl" / @laurettechandlerthevi... here on KZbin and Gayle Agostinelli / @gayleagostinelli_ct (she's one of the reasons I make journals). This is a super easy project to make. You can glue the bag to a page or put it over a page in a journal. Let me know if you think I should list some of the index cards in my shop - I do have some I could share just not a ton.

I couldn't find the exact bag or sack but these bread bags from Amazon are about the right width so if you cut it down to 7.5 or 8 inches they would have a similar look You want the bags to be about 5 inches wide and about 8 inches tall. amzn.to/3WrvPoP I'll keep looking and if I find something better I'll pin it here 😁 I found some off of Amazon that are pretty close but you have to get a ton. Emily, I tried this today by hinging 2 index cards together and adding a pocket to the back on the outside of it with some decorative card stock. It turned out kinda cute! So much inspiration and possibilities from this video! I’m a new subscriber and I’m looking so forward to binging your content 😊
