Making a Foam Pilgrim Mask from Black Myth Wukong

What epic item would you like to see from the video game Black Myth: Wukong. This week I built the Pilgrim headband (mask) from the game out of EVA foam. For this build, I used: 6 mm, 4 mm, and 2 mm EVA foam, black yarn, contact cement, super glue, Plasti Dip, and various Rub-n-Buff colors. You may also need the following tools: a rotary tool with multiple bits, a heat gun, a wood burner, and an Exacto knife or box cutter. Cool mask Thomas.. I never heard of the game till now.. but I've watched a few different movies about sunwukong .. the first one was back in 2014... my last wife was Chinese, so I wanted to try and learn Chinese.. the movies were kinda comical in nature with some heavier over tones.. but still I enjoyed each rendition... and leaning a few phrases in the process.. your mask has an almost "kempo-esk" look to it.. which I think makes yours more unique.. great job

@BabaBoi-e4y unless you checked the day the video was released. I always upload the pattern a day or two after the video comes out, it's another couple hours of work getting the template ready. I just checked and it is there

I dont recall odin sealing foam like that but i could be mistaken. Either way, isnt that kind of expensive to be sealing with barge? At least use cheap stuff. Edit: oh and great video. 👍

It’s a small amount for such a large mask, and it’s a one-time application. It's definitely not a cost-effective method, but one could make the same argument for Plast Dip as well. There are tons of cheaper alternatives. I just thought I would try it since a good portion of my surface was already covered 👊
