love your work Gab! truly amazing how you create these engines from scraps

The switch from the raging flames in the beginning to the calm history of jet engines. FAV PART
@okaraaze1087Ай бұрын
Great job! Would you mind linking me a pdf of the paper guides you used to design the combustion chamber and compressor? That would be great! Also Commericial jet engines usually have an afterburner to burn the remaining unburnt fuel to maximise thrust output, So i recommend having another set of burners near the end, People usually make them out of needles and copper pipes (you can look up the design im talking about online) Essencially you need some form of constant combustian aside from the self sustaining flame you have inside. One in the combustian chamber and one near the output. And flipping the can upside down gives you more volatile fuel :) Great job on the jet engine once again

At this point I can’t imagine how you will explain to your wife what happened to the coffe thermos. Nice build!

Why did i think Gab was indian cause i was like, aint no way an indian would do something as crazy, Only africans can do such thing keep inspiring africa brother keep it up.!😁

I must admit that this work is truly amazing❤

To get compression you need statir vanes between your fan stages otherwise you just get high flow not high pressure

You should be able to earn a full scholarship anywhere with projects like these, please apply if you are interested! any institution with minimal vision should be proud to have you, if they don't they don't deserve you anyway! Fantastic job!!! Wish you all the luck, because you're already covered as for talent!

inspiring me to make my own engine lmao (I've wanted to for a while but haven't had the motivation) also, it's been super cool seeing your engines get better and better this stuff is so damn cool I would love to see another engine that has turbines powering the compressors at this larger scale!

Epic, have you tried making or using a lathe to get the moving parts nice and round so less vibrations? Expensive but could help get a more powerful engine.

Another thing entierly unrelated to my previous comment, to get a good electrical connection when soldering it works best to heat the wire with a blob of solder on the iron being held against the wire, and when the wire is hot you can melt the solder directly on the wire (I hope that makes sense). Solder is a metal with a flux core on the inside, and the flux gets rid of oxidation on the wires. the oxidation on wires is non conductive, so an electrically reliable connection is best when that oxidation has been removed 👍

So you’re saying heat the wire up with the soldering iron and then use a piece of solder and tap it against the wire to melt it?

I really condone your enthusiasm. However, this is not a gas turbine/jet engine but rather an 'electric' flame thrower. Keep up the learning.

Well this is not an engine 😅 you are using a propellant for combustion and using a bldc which gives too much power this nowhere gives a thrust
