I like using Captain plugins to write lyrics as well as produce songs. I would really love regions (intro, verse, chorus) in Captain Plugins to make it easier to audition voicings/variations and arrange full songs. I know it is or used to be in one of the plugins can't remember off hand but id love to see it in all of them with an option to "follow regions" just as it can follow chords or not. This way, we could try different melodies with different intros, save different versions of intros, bridges etc...

hey, thanks for your feedback. We temporarily removed the these tabs on the Epic update, but they are making a comeback. They will work even better than they did on the previous versions. We are working on implementing these tabs back as we speak :)

Please keep up the pace. Lol. I would like a complete arrangement button, tempo and time based parameters, with the ability to freeze modules and randomize at will. I want to make changes and undo them many levels. Refreeze and randomize other parts until I like it. If you could automate that process eventually then it will be about perfect.

Thanks for your feedback, James. We are still actively developing the plugins, so we will make sure to add your suggestions to our Wishlist for future updates :)

Just bought the Captain Plugins Suite and I can’t figure out how to easily add chords from outside of the chosen scale (ie borrowed chords or parallel scale options for example)… any ideas??

The chords in the secondary row include borrowed chords we recommend working well in the key. From left to right, the first chords in the secondary row are native to the key and useful variations. But as you get further to the right down the list the chords end up being borrowed and useful in specific scenarios 🙂

Good tutorial but that is one genre of music I'll avoid like the proverbial plague.

We are trying to cover a wide range of genres in our tutorials :) What genre do you produce?
