I made a game for the jam about a "built" climber who "scales" a climbing route. It was fun being in the jam!

This was a really interesting idea. I followed the herd and went with a space game. It's called gravity Riders and It's about gravity and time dilation and stuff.

I was planning on only doing the first two days due to scheduling issues but since the levels weren’t finished I still had to use the few other hours in the next two days 😅 I made a superliminal styled puzzle game. Over time the cool ideas I had were culled due to various reasons but at least it was a fun little project at the end.

I love how your game is coming along, will support the kickstarter. There’s a thought here about Sabotage and Sea of Stars for lighting stuff, also second wind jm8 might like you on the game dev podcast if that’s a thing.

I have a really good idea for your indie game You should add a speed power up and like it makes the main character have lightning spiralling around them and it makes them faster and jump higher and it also gives you a new way to attack you just hold down A and then that will make chain attack as long as you’re holding that down in sequence the main character in game will just keep attacking

From what you described, 13F seems pretty similar to The Exit 8 that came out 8 months before and got kinda trendy among streamers and stuff if I remember correctly ^^ Anyway, I'm gonna test and rate your game, it seems fun :P

I found out 3 days after the announcement video so I was not dumb enough to try in 1 day, especially with comments that solo devs dont have their own category.

I made a super weird with a friend that's super good at pixel art for this gmtk... Our dynamic reminded me of you and your artist fer for Isadora's edge! You play as a dino in a spaceship that shoots evil snailiens (snail + aliens) to make their shells bigger. Then, you use your long neck to enter their shells with snake like controls, avoid the obstacles in the shells and destroy them from the inside! So sad that you didn't manage to finish :(

Hello! I just learned about your channel a couple of days ago. Your game design tips are really informative and helpful! I am a game dev wannabe. I want to make a game out of the fantasy ideas that were living rent-free in my head for years, but I am still dealing with the concepts. (yup, not even the concept arts) Do you have any tips about storybuilding? It will help me a lot! (I currently made concepts for the different world areas, my main character and major allies, some side characters for various areas, and the main villain. I kinda know the overall plot and the side stories for each area, but they are all still drafts. What tips do you recommend to make the characters and plot clearer? Thanks!)
@陳廷允2 ай бұрын
Also, since I started writing down my concepts, it went through several major renovations over the course of two months. Is this common for all game devs, or is it just me?

I understand that having the talk like this with a stranger can be uncomfortable, but it has to be done. Shovel, you need your enemies to burn up in a cool way when they die. I don't make the rules. That's just the way it is. For a game like this, we need to aspire to Symphony of The Night level badass cremations. What's the point of Isadora destroying monsters with that kickass fire sword if they don't burst into flames after they die? Now, I don't mean to be rude as I don't know anything about your world, I just want you to know that you can do it however you want. It doesn't necessarily have to be the fire from Isadora's sword consuming them. It can be a SOTN situation or something where you break the one thing holding these abominations together, and they are unmade by the forces of nature itself. Any number of things will work. You do it however you like. You don't even have to explain it! All that needs to happen is there needs to be a sick ass burning or crumbling to dust of some sort every time an enemy dies. Have a lovely development process. My people and I will be watching with great interest.
