I love your enthusiastic yet relaxed way of explaining things! What kind of experiments have you tried in guitarbuilding, what worked, what didn't? This could probably be one or more episodes instead of just an answer

One (of many) things I enjoy with this build process is that you take it slow and methodical!! Far too often these days, ‘we’ are in an immense rush to get 9,314,510 things completed by Noon...and only actually accomplish 2 or 3 at best. Cheers Mr. McKinnon!

Another entertaining video from the master of guitar building but I have to ask when you are going to do a video on drywalling your ceiling. I get so itchy just looking at all the Roxul insulation above your head but the English Breakfast tea at the end does make me feel better. You and your son's videos do inspire me to continue to pursue my own dreams and for that I thank you.

Great Monty, like how this retains its shape just after a little wetting. Would you have to steam up a piece of wood to bend without the cuts? 👍

Hi! Maybe you should use GoPro to film in dust. On the other hand, Peter will definitely come up with something to show the machining process ... It's could be very interesting.
@MontyMcKinnon5 жыл бұрын
I was thinking of my iPhone 8Plus for that. What do you think.
@adaxia15 жыл бұрын
Yep, if I remember correctly, the iPhone 8Plus has an IP67 rating of protection, which means it is dustproof and you can wash it under running water.👍
@micahfoordphotography32065 жыл бұрын
Monty McKinnon I still think GoPro is the way forward for this. Easier to clamp and get into awkward spaces than a phone

Hello Monty, why not glue the jagged stripes' smooth side to the body and have jagged side facing the inside volume? Isn't it better acoustically wise?

Honestly I think the sound is better as it bounces and not absorbed with the saw cut facing out.
