Hello Everybody! Thanks so much for checking out this episode of Behind The Brew! I really hope you enjoyed checking out the making of the Don Juan Styling Clay with me! I will have part 2 coming this Thursday for the matte cream! That one was particularly cool for me to see, because up until that point when we have watched matte finish products get made it always involved clays-But the matte cream has none present in the formula, yet its still matte! See how they do it this coming Thursday!

I love the smarter open minded sharing manufacturing tips and especially actual formulas at times approach all of my favorite producers I see here . In the big picture it builds a stronger more prosperous niche field that I just don’t think the huge manufacturers provide. Lol. Okay not many lol. I make pomades for my sons single barbershop… I’m a retired engineer and needed something to do lol. So I hope I treated the start of a small legacy lol. My sons one of the most in demand barbers in my area Trevose Pa and I really appreciate the help IV gained from you

Just curious. .What type of bentonite clay most hair styling manufacturers use any idea! Is it calcium or sodium bentonite? I'm asking for my hair pack preparation to apply on hair.
@huntermitchell63353 жыл бұрын
I think it's just small particle and the type doesn't matter of that kind of clay.

Hey man, just found your channel and loving the content ! Can you possibly review some Korean hair products as I've heard they have more better ingredients that are banned in the US and Europe thus making their products more superior. Would be great to listen to your thoughts on this

But if they didn't add the glycol it would be healthier for hair
@MMTV4 жыл бұрын
There’s no health risks whatsoever with the use of propylene glycol. It’s a widely used ingredient thats in everything from moisturizers, to food items. There’s nothing to fear with this for hair in the least.

Preservatives, experimental emulsifiers, fragrances that we have no idea what they are made of… I’m sure they are amazing for our scalp and skin. I’ll make sure to stay away from this product
