This turned out beautiful! I was so excited for Ilysse when Reese's Book Club shared her reel about her reading tracker. I have a reading journal, the old HP bookish happy notes. I like copying quotes from each book into it. It helps me with my lettering/handwriting. I read quite a bit, around 100 books a year. A lot of the book tubers I watch read over 300 books per year. They seem to do audiobooks at 3x speed to even be able to get to that number.

This spread is AWESOME! I love the lettering and shadows effect. No judgement here. I may even try making a reading tracker for my planner spread....next week is a book Lover spread in my non-Disney planner. Its getting pretty chunky so i may have to move it to my Happy Notes. Great tracker, i like the idea of keeping it in my regular planner. I want to start a bullet journal for reading but first i should start actually reading!😆i do love to read, but i seldom make time for it. I have tons of books on my kindle and on my shelves, so i have no excuses. I am currently reading a book, but its not one that i feel like i just have to get back to, you know? My goal is 23 in 23, so i still have some time😉 My favorite author is Gleny Vanderah, she has only written three books and i have read them all, or should i say devoured them. Once i start one of her books, I just cant put it down.

Such a cute spread. I had not thought to use the smaller rectangle box stickers as books on a shelf. Such a great idea. I don’t typically read much in my spare time because I’m a technical writer 🤓 so by the time my work day is complete I’m physically and mentally done with reading. 😵‍💫 However, I have been wondering what I could use out of my stash to create a reading tracker to track the books of the Bible that I’m working on so thank you for sharing this spread. When I think of where a drop shadow should go, I think about where the light source is when it's shining on the letters, which are sitting on a table. Somehow visualizing it like that makes sense to me. (I am not an artist nor do I play one on tv. 😉) You always say "maybe this will work, maybe it won't"...and it always does! 😄I like that you balance everything. I feel that need, too. I'm on Goodreads, too, although it's somehow sort of by default. I guess I linked my Kindle to Goodreads at some point and now it tracks my books. I make a book tracker each year, too, just to keep a physical list of the books I read each year. I like mine to have a different theme each year. In 2021, I recreated a library check out card and I LOVED that one. This year is going to have a movie theme but I haven't created it yet. On my way to Goodreads to friend you!

Hi, This is wonderful. Very creative from you as always. I noticed you on GoodReads a few years ago. I don’t go on that app much at all now. I don’t know why. I do have a whole mini planner dedicated to tracking my Ebooks from the LA County Public Library. I have a super chunky mini in which I list all of the authors with all of their books in a series or stand-alones. I love being able to flip through them and look back at all the ones I have read. Loved re-listening to you favorite authors tracker! I also don’t count books. I want to keep track of books and their plots and authors I like. I need a short plot summary cause I forget what they’re about.(I also forget if I’ve already read them!) I would love if you could do a whole page for one author that you like with the books you read and what you’d like to read. I’ve done a few of those, but not excessively attractive ones😬

Oh I love this!!! I took up reading again and I am aiming for 1 book a month. So wow, you go girl....hahaha. I read a good one in January...The Silent patient by Alex Michaelides. It had a great twist in it. A detective thriller type story. I am reading Daisy Jones and the six by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I can't even finish it, way to juvenile and boring. May have to try something else. I will pick up something from McFadden, I like thrillers!! Thank you for this page idea and the author recommendation!

Thank you for doing this reading tracker. My fave author is Dean Koontz and a week ago I just finished Odd Thomas. I thought I had the next book, Forever Odd, but didn't. Found a book I haven't read hidden by Evanovich , Hero at Large, I started last Thurs. and I'm almost done with the book. Maybe I'll do an Odd Thomas week spread since I finished it (thanks to the Steven King commenter on the idea)! I heard the Odd Thomas series was terrific, I really enjoyed the first book and it was a movie which was really good and true to the book. Thanks Mary Ellen!! Super cute! I am addicted to books! I love the bookish sticker book. And I am also on Goodreads. I really like Emily Henry, Elin Hildebrand, Kristin Hannah, Gillian Flynn, Heather Webber, Jodi Picoult, Agatha Christie, Mary Kubica, and I just read my first Colleen Hoover book (Verity...loved it!). There are a ton of books that are like 200ish pages...you can get in some short books this year if you really want to fill up the pages 🙂
