Making A Harbor Freight Portable Band Saw Stand (Cheap And Easy)

How to make a simple, sturdy portable band saw stand for a harbor freight portable band saw, for just a few dollars, out of a 2 by 6, a couple of 2 by 4's, and some bolts. This stand can be mounted to a wall, or to any workbench. I've been using it for about a year now, and it's been working great for me. Very soon I will be showing you how I made a solid steel table for this saw, and I will be doing a quick review, and talking about some small updates I made to the stand. *Worked perfectly right out of the box **MyBest.Tools** a nice compact bench bandsaw, that will work with 1/4 to 1/2 inch blades! First use was a joy, better quality than I expected for the price ! ! !*

Hahahaha! That is Amazing! I've watched a ton of videos on making a table for one of these: much welding, using several expensive and cool metalworking/woodworking tools I don't have, taking huge amounts of time and effort. And you solve all of that with basic lumber and a drill! So simple and effective. Can't wait to try it!

To anyone doing this if you simply space the 2 boards 2 3/4" apart (inside) you don't really need to do to much fitting as its fairly solid at that spacing with a bunge strap.

nice job. If you put a small ratchet/tie strap around the body of the saw and 2x4 structure I bet it would be solid as a rock!
