I really dig the extra work on the habaki. Ever try doin the rainfall or cat scratch style on them? A cosmetic tip I keep forgetting to mention: Cut a divot on the kashira end of the tsuka where the ito knots will be so they sit more flush. What did you put on the blade to keep it burning and will you re heat treat the blade after doing that?
