I loved this so much that I purchased your pattern and will be trying my hand at this craft for the first time. What type/size leather should I be buying for it? And where is a good place to get it? Thank you ahead of time.

The leather I used for this project is a stiff 5-6 oz. You can find it at most leather supply stores. Most common and accessible store is Tandy Leather, others include Leather Weaver Supply, Springfield leather, Lonsdale leather. Really dependent on where you live.
