Thanks for sharing another great video. The 10 seconds of stitching really put it in perspective how much work goes into making the finished wallet. I could only imagine how much time goes into recording and editing these awesome videos! Keep up the great work.
@MasconLeather4 жыл бұрын
Thanks !! Yeah .... that 10 seconds which seemed like an eternity on film, was only 2 stitches (1/2”). So it gives a good perspective. And the videos take 25 - 50 hours, roughly. For a 4 hour wallet. 😆

Thanks for the video--- I've made several similar money clip/minimal wallets with the same style clip but really like your version much more as I'm about 2 years into 'test driving' mine and there's a lot of stress on the stitching (didn't make a flap like yours). Another great wallet and video. You’ve actually inspired me to try leather crafting. I’ve made myself a simple wallet with four card slots. It’s not to bad for my first one. My biggest problem with making a wallet with no template is the card slots. I keep making them not wide enough or stitching to far in on the edges.

So many little things stand out. The strange, $2 bills. The dog balls. I once tried throwing all my tools. I impaled myself and now I don't do it any more. The dog outside. Let me take a breath from speed stitching. Left handed priority? Less alcohol in this video. 100% more beautiful women. Nice touch. I am trying to master the template, ruler, cutting edge technique. Not very succussful. Oh, yeah, beautiful leather wallet/clip. Wonderful design. Tremendous technique. Yay!
@MasconLeather4 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for all of that, Bruce! (Sometimes all of these are referred to as Easter eggs.... usually in movies. ) Oh... the brick - reference to the business name sake. From the 1960s onward. Mas = masonry. Con = concrete. “Mascon”. They construction business of grandfather, uncle, father, etc was “Mas-con Construction”. I borrowed the name and dropped the hyphen.
@bbrachman4 жыл бұрын
@@MasconLeather Easter eggs are notoriously hard to identify. I would be more inclined to call yours 'visual puns'. As a graphic artist, I try to put them into my work. It is not easy.
