Invest in a countersink bit. Easier to fill your screw holes, and it keeps things more symmetrical. It also looks better. Good job for your first run at it... regardless of your rookie hiccups

furniture grade plywood sheets of 4' x 8' x 3/4" is what Ive used on all my plywood builds.

No offense, but you need to work on your cutting skills. A lot of that bracing pieces are short, which means they won’t be doing anything.
