I have never viewed a planning tutorial before. Thanks. Rather than making an album "by the seat of my pants" this makes much more sense. Time to brush up on my math and get started.

This is AWESOME!! Definitely need a tutorial on this one when you create it. I love everything you do!! And you are such a great teacher. Thanks for all you do to help the rest of us!!!

I use sketches for card making, it only makes sense to make sketches for mini albums! Thank you for this!!

I never thought about sketching it all out before hand but what a great idea! Thanks Rosa!

Thank you, thank you for this video. I struggle with creating mini albums, and I've been searching for a process video like this. Thank you for sharing your beautiful gift with us.

I always have so many visions in my head, especially after watching previews of beautiful minis, or perusing all the posts on Pinterest....I am on my 3rd composition notebook full of sketches!! I am finally becoming proficient in digital paper, love Nitwit collections!!....and now, not only do I sketch out, sometimes actually make a MINI out of post-its, I can determine the actual measurements of cardstock and decorative paper and make my layouts so that there is a minimum of cutting!! Love the digital paper!!!

I seriously can not believe someone hasn’t come up with this already!! Or they have and I have been in a cave! What an awesome idea!! I start my books off and end up making decisions on the fly and then I don’t like it once I’m done or it’s not the right layouts etc. I just really sincerely want to thank you for this idea. It will save so much time, energy, paper and frustration. Especially when I know what pictures I want to use for the album!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

So helpful to watch you work through the process. How do you determine how much patterned paper you will need? Is it based on the number of pages/folds?

It's awesome. Didn't know that working on measurements can be so easy. What does the terms gusset and signatures mean in an album?
@heike73482 жыл бұрын
Signature is a single page, and gusset is the gap between the pages on the spine

This came at a good time for me because I am doing a wedding album for my Grandson. I’ve only done a small christening album before but have a lot of ideas from tutorials and didn’t really know how to organise them. I will now sit down and get some of these ideas on paper. You have saved me a lot of paper because I was just going to go with the flow and decide from there. Thank you very much 😘

Wow. You must be an engineer? Thank you for showing us your thought process. Do you have a list somewhere of what kind of cardstock (pound) you use? Also, I believe you use 110# and 65#? At what point do you use these? I remember you did a video and you were going to reference another video explaining what you use and when in the description box but it wasn't there and if you know which one I am talking about maybe you could give me the link. I have not been able to find it. Thank you so very much for all that you do on your channel. You are incredibly talented. I have some materials to make a baby girl album but I am so afraid to try. I know this sounds dumb but I am. Grrrrrr 😳. I guess I just want to make sure I have what I am suppose to before I start. Or it could just be procrastination because I am afraid to fail. That is one of my downfalls. I do know that without failure there's no success but it is an issue for me. Again, thank you so very much.
@RosaKellyScrapbooking5 жыл бұрын
I did do a video of materials. I should be on my Tutorials Playlist. I am an engineer LOL... I would say just go for it, don’t use the design paper jet, just use your cardstock and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. I still do, you will learn so much after you go through a few mistakes. Just have fun and don’t stress too much. Once you’re happy with the album, then you can start adding you pretty paper on it. 😊 Hugs!

RosaKellyScrapbooking You're so kind. Thank you very much. I will go through your tutorials again to try to find it. (Funny how I thought you were an engineer by your sketches). Hope you are having a fantastic day. Thanks for the encouragement. Xoxo
