The Resin worry warts would make an awesome Keychain since it's more durable than clay. I loved that little guy so much! So cute!

I died laughing at the Squid costume, your little face poking out 😂😂 Also, I had no idea that resin and making molds was so tricky! The end results look awesome, trial and error for sure

If you leave the eyes in when making your mold, you can use it to make castings with yojr glass eyes already attached by placing them into the mold face-down before pouring your resin/squishing your clay in onto them (Think those popular demon-cat molds from a couple years ago). Sometimes a thin layer of resin might seep down over the eye in the cavity, but it can be easily removed with a craft knife. Just something i thought you might want to play around with :) Edit: also, try baking your polymer clay castings *before* taking them out of the mold. Silicones which are intended for mold-making almost always have a more than adequate heat tolerance for this (including the two you've used in this video) This technique negates all of the difficulty involved when trying not to deform anything when removing it from the mold afterward.

The 1st mold u made would work more with liquid like wax and resin, or if it was food safe silicone chocolates or cheese, for a press mold as u said u want a more firmer silicone

I would put them in the freezer after putting it in the mold to stiffen the clay

I think maybe the mould would work slightly better if it were inside a box to prevent some of the flexing

Hey, wasn't sure if you knew but you're uploading your videos at extremely low quality (360p) the lowest you should go is 720p if your device cant handle 1080p
@caryscuttlefish2 жыл бұрын
I actually DIDNT know that, I’ve been making them in 1080p. Could be part of the reason that they haven’t been getting as much traction. Thank you for calling my attention to this, I’ll be more mindful of it when posting in the future!!!!
@ellebloom.2 жыл бұрын
@@caryscuttlefish The last video of yours i can see that was 1080p was march 2022. The rest are 360p or 720p. You need to manually select it via settings before you upload, youtube doesnt change quality randomly after you upload. If you do this: 1. Settings 2. Uploads 3. Upload Quality 4. Select 1080p You also need to make sure your device films at 1080p. Hope that helps :)

@@ellebloom. Yeah, I actually realized that after I made my second comment....T_T I've been making the videos in the WRONG resolution. Final cut pro said it was suitable for KZbin, so I just....didn't think otherwise. BUT I Figured everything out last night, going forward EVERY video should be in 1080p and I hope you'll watch them and enjoy
