I literally harass my friend who helped me get one spirit. Literally one. Like I won’t leave him alone. I try to get him to go to other places with me. I love going on candle runs with him. It was the confetti spirit he helped me get. As soon as I added him, his name on my friends list was immediately set to sweets because he is so nice.

I have been playing it for a year now, I have ended the game like four times, I have helped a lot of moths, but I'm not (I don't feel) like a "veteran" so from time to time I do stupid things and end up needing help from my more experienced friends 🤣🤣🤣 I think is because I play from time to time so I give this moth feeling, even though I have a lot of cosmetics etc 🤣🤣🤣 So for me moths are really special because I feel more like one of them and chatting with them is so nice, they are so friendly, and watch them play with everything you show them and having little parties with them it's awesome, because you know they are falling in love with the game just like you. Edit: When I say "end" the game I mean playing everything and then going to eden for fun xd

my first friend was a veteran named Tomil, and we became friends when I was going through Eden and they led me through. since then, when they're online, I've been showing them my "milestones" (new cosmetics, etc) and they're always supportive. I took them as a role model and since then have been helping moths. I have a lot of friends that are moths, and it's always fun to see when they get new cosmetics and stuff. really, if it wasn't for the motivation veteran friends like Tomil gave me, I probably wouldn't have progressed like I did!

My first experience with vets is when me and another moth just let ourselves get dragged through the forest and wasteland map. At first I thought those two vets are doing the quest just like me but then I realized that they didn't do the spirits and their clothes are different. Now I know that they're actually doing candle run. Back then, I thought they're doing speedrunning or something

@@oo8962 I also got dragged through wasteland for a candle run. I was trying to do treehouse quest and got a player to help with the two person part. Then we were waiting for a third. They said they had someone online that could help. We all held hands and I thought we were off to do the treehouse. At this point I hadn't done wasteland yet, I'd been backtracking to walled off areas (how I found the treehouse quest). So my first experience with a krill was my guide getting us hit in the back. Reminded me of the monsters in journey, so not really scary. Enough runs of journey numbs you. They just become annoying. I felt so bored since I wasn't physically playing and wondering why we weren't going to treehouse, I couldn't see what his friend was saying. I thought maybe we were heading to some other quest. But after a while of whizzing through places and burning plants, his friend waved goodbye and left. He had to get off too. I was left confused and annoyed. Went to wasteland later on my own to get spirits. Eventually got the treehouse done with other people. I help others with it when I can since it was such a pain to need others to complete. Been playing for almost a week now and have done all the quests. Only one seasonal spirit left to do in wastelands. It's super annoying to get and I don't know if I care for the expression...but the completionist in me says otherwise. Will be taking a pillow or jar or something when I feel up to it.

This reminds me of one of my first friends in sky. They’re an ikeman and a veteran, and they found me as a moth wandering around the hidden forest treehouse with no wing charge 💀 We went weeks playing together without every saying a word until they put down a chat table one day. One problem came from that: they only speak Japanese and I speak English, but it turns out they really wanted to talk to me, so they started using an automatic translator. Months later we still talk+play together everyday and I’m now learning bits of Japanese to get closer to them, being able to say hellos, goodbyes, goodnights, etc ^^ 💞💞💞 I love them a lot. Sky really is a very special game

I adopted 16 moths so far. Never decline a friend request, because it could come across as mean or rude. Besides, most likely the person will eventually learn how to send people gifts of light. There's no downsides to having a ton of friends, really!

I was a moth back then and when i became somewhat kind of an expert i started helping moths and they become my friends. Next thing i know they're also got their moths of their own and it's just heartwarming and kina bittersweet to see them grow. I feel like a mother and all of them grew up and went in their own path. It is stressful at first but those are the times that you will miss when they all go their own way :'). Now i wonder if that's what my senpais felt when I learned everything and started my own journey alone.

I remember that it was a friend irl who suggested this game to me. At the time, I was rather shy and didn't really like socializing. She introduced me to the friends she made in Sky. With these friends I got more confident and started socializing with other players. I also always help moths when I find them in tight spots, such as once, during my run to Eden I friended a moth and brought her to a safer place. I placed a table and chatted with her. I join her whenever she's online and it was wholesome to look after moths. Though, a while later, I lacked motivation to friend moths. I have friended some to help them, but they just run away and ignore me. Later, I got busier so I don't have the chance to log in Sky as often. I wish to experience everything in such way again
