nice diorama, but I don't want to kill the mood (or the mud) but there was no mud in Normandy in 44 since it was one of the dryiest Srping ever ....

can we use PVA or wood;and glue to make muddy toad instead of mod podge?

As long as the glue dries clear I can think it should work fine. I like modpodge because in addition to drying clear, it also dries very glossy as well.

when I use water:soil:mod podge 2:2:1, the mix is milky white, not muddy color, do you know why>?

That has happened to me a few times as well. If it does happen, I usually add more dirt to the mix; although since the modpodge does dry clear, the milky white color should disappear..

Do you use regular outside dirt? Or is it a soil modeling product?
