I am going to record the journey of making a UK fully polished Neolithic style axe.
Using materials and tools that I find in the countryside here in Suffolk, UK.
Keeping the process as authentic (as is reasonably possible) to how it may have been done 5,000 years ago.
This thirteenth episode covers 5 hours that I spent hard grinding the faces of the axe, to try to reduce the deepest knapping scars that still remained.
It was hard work, as I am now grinding into practically the whole flat face of each side of the axe to get to those deep facets.

😂.... I did smile to myself today after another half hour on it. After every grinding session I check it and I say to myself "It's getting there!".... Been saying that for the last 30 hours! 😁 Thanks mate.... It IS getting there!!! 👍
