Can you please interview a property expert this might help alot people cause it seems to me alot of people are misinformed!!
@deepmejor3449

Its better to buy a house (property) in UK and live in it if you can afford, rather than rent it. When you are ready to relocate to Ghana, you sell it, cash out and use the funds towards your Ghana house. You will benefit from "capital growth" and "increase in equity". If there is a real need for you to build or buy in Ghana, then thats different. Anyone who says owning a property here is unnecessary is a big liar and uninformed.

He is ABSOLUTELY BANG on!!!! I agree mostly with what he said in the interview. Those attacking him about the mortgage. Learn about Assets and Liabilities before attacking him. That house you want to buy in ghana when you're 65years, This man can create a business in ghana like he is saying, and build a house with the profit he makes. He can even come back here with more money than you to purchase a house for his kids. See one will say but its risky doing in Ghana.. the same way its risky buying a mortgage..coz how do you know you will keep ur job.. look at Covid.. and what happened to most independent businesses. They had to close down. It all depends on where you're stood looking at the bottle. Some pessimists..some optimists.

@Bash B I do understand but there's more to what u claim. I respect ur opinion but know for sure laws work in Abrokyire compared to our Ama - Ghana when it comes to owning property. Enjoy ur day, minua.
@revelationat2g1
@revelationat2g1 2 жыл бұрын
@Bash B Well in other parts of abrokyire, 30 - 35 years house mortgage saves one from every 2 years house renewal, paying same amount for owning as same as renting. In case of death b4 the 35yrs, the mortgage is canceled by insurance and ur family get that house for free. When was the last time u met ur landlord or landlady in abrokyire, u can relocate to GH and have ur house rented out without any 'wahala'. Do u know how ur kids will feel when they becomes teenagers N live a rent free life knowing their father was an African who arrived in UK with "Ghana must go bag". Let us try N change the narrative, 'krata' can be a blessing or a curse depending on our decisions.

In the US let's say a house of $500,000,you have to fuck out around $100,000 out of pocket for down payment then the 400,000 left you borrow from the bank for 30 years mortgage payments, you hv to pay every month who wants to go through this shit.The $100,000 for the down-payment can build you a mansion in Ghana.You will work ur whole life without no enjoyment

My rent is $1300 in the bronx a month 2 bedrooms one kid and a wife.Why should I bother my self go buy a house and pay around $4000-$5000 a month.And plus owning a house everything is on you you pay for water,repairs everything unlike the apartment where you pay ur 1300 water is included repairs are also included.You buy a house you will work ur entire life because is no joke
@kwakuba9167

But you can Sell a house and get your money back plus profit. Anaa? When you pay the 1300 the owner use vthat money to pay the mortgage and the taxes so he doesn't pay anything from his pocket. Which one is wiser please? Investing in abroad here is far better. Mortgages etc is what made abroad what it is that you have come all the way here. But when you got here you are saying their investment system is bad. How?
